Watching an odd feed for the game, where there are no commercials. I never realized they stopped play LITERALLY every other play for 2-3 minutes.

They had to dip into the portal and took guys with flaws that have been exposed at times in World and Harkey, yet were still a Moore award finalist. Terry is not an issue. His recruiting the past couple of years is about to catch up, and the line will only get better.GDuck wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 8:22 pm Hill was limping a bit. That play would’ve been better with Hill.
We’ve lost the line battle tonight. Let’s just say the OL has underperformed overall this year. I really think Terry need to be under more of a microscope.

I don't suppose we can throw the ball farther than 1-2 yards?

Especially with some backup OL in. You are down 27, at least take a shot with something.

Stein is only allotted one deep shot a quarter.OrTDuck wrote:Especially with some backup OL in. You are down 27, at least take a shot with something.

This is beyond embarrassing at this point. I dunno what Lanning can even do to save face.

We can't even punt the ball properly. This game has had a bit of everything needed for a complete, well-rounded disaster.

What's the consensus? Is this actually worse than last year's meltdown against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl? I'd wager that it actually is. It's close, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if this loses us quite a few recruits. We look like 12 clowns getting out of a Volkswagen. Lanning, WTF? Seriously?

Yes cause Ohio State was the more talented team but I’d say these teams are even, heck Oregon might even have a slight talent advantage.rodentslayer wrote:What's the consensus? Which ones? The ones that have already signed and are on campus? Are they going to leave a team that made the final four for a worse team, because they had a bad game against the best team in the country?QuackininBama wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 8:34 pm I wouldn't be surprised if this loses us quite a few recruits. We have 0 pass rush when Nasir Wyatt isn’t on the field, so why is he not in there more? Both of our coordinators should be embarrassed by their lack of utilizing the talent on this team.
