Yeah, if it happens..Its fantastic..If not, its another recruit lost....It seems that these high profile players attention is possibly as important as their actual acquisition, at least in our current situation with Tahj Boyd.....

That's the point I am trying to make. If Oregon got Boyd, great, but since it's not going to happen (It would be a miracle at this point looking at recent quotes) at least take solace in the exposure Boyd is giving Oregon, just like Pryor did last year. This is almost as important as getting Boyd, because it will lead to bigger and better things down the road assuming the Ducks perform on the field in 2009. Exposure is the key, and with 5 ESPN games this year, Oregon is on the brink of becoming a national power. But that can only happen if the recruits from the East Coast know about Oregon early enough to not be content with their home state school!

Why harp on the kid? He isn't the one making a circus out of this. It's no never mind to him if he anounces Tuesday or a week from Tuesday since He can't sign the LOI yet anyway. Even if he commits , someone will still worry he will change his mind. I know the whole "he will bring others with him" story but this is a decision about HIS life. We can't make the decision for him (unless he reads enough negatives about him). After all that, Come to Oregon Mr. Boyd and Go Ducks.
