I always thought that Pat Johnson was the fastest Duck I had seen...he always looked fast anyways. What a awesome pick up for the ducks. Could he return punts or kickoffs?

We had heard of the commit but we like to also do a story on the news. Just because we dont get it first doesnt mean we wont cover it. Besides, its bad journalism to just use info from other sites for your info. We needed to get it from his own words

Some guys we've had have been fast sprinters at larger distances (Parker, Kent in 200+ meter sprints, Holland, etc.) 40 times this fast are rare.
So what ever came of Bauman's NFL career? I never heard how things went for him. Was he just too small?

I truly hope come LOI day in 2010 he still with us but ifffff he is that fast and that good do you think Florida.. Florida State, Miami... South Florida.. and dare i mention other SEC schools will not go after him. Is the kid ok with fact we are 3000 miles away. I want him to land in Oregon but am just being a realist here. We will have to keep knocking on his door every week if we going to land him. Even then it will be an uphill battle. If he is that fast and that good will probably be a 5 star recruit. Going to be tough getting him out of Florida.

Grant sounds really pumped about Oregon. Distance doesn't seem to be a factor and he already turned down an offer from Florida. I don't get why you guys are so gloomy about keeping him, he sounds really pumped to be a duck

Great write up Mops! I think it is AWESOME you guys are interviewing him. I'm sure it makes him feel more wanted by the fans, and it's important to follow up with some of these guys who still have a year until NSD and could switch commitments. But Grant appears to be solid, thanks for letting him know Oregon's fans are honored to have him, and keep up the good work with these write ups! Keep them coming!
