it could be true. but im hoping we could find out why he (boyd) did all thisghetarr2007 wrote:McNeal was always the wild card, and was the reason I had a sick feeling at the AA game when he didn't commit to Oregon. Because it was apparent wherever he went he was going to do all he could to get Boyd to come with him. IMO, if McNeal chose Oregon Boyd would have committed at the AA game. Because McNeal chose Clemson, Boyd decided to delay things a bit and take a look at a 3rd option. In conclusion, thanks Bryce for nothing.

You guys crack me up!!
Here's keeping our fingers crossed that Boyd realizes that Oregon is THE best option for him. Come to The "O" my friend.

I don't know what to think of this situation anymore. He loves the style of play, but now distance is playing a factor with his parents. Clemson has come in at the last minute and now are considered a favorite to get his commitment. If he come, great for us. If he doesn't, we have Masoli for another 2 years and then Thomas after him. If we don't get any QBs this class, Oregon will need to take a QB or two in the next two classes to get some depth after Thomas.

Yeah, I'm excited about Thomas in the future regardless of Boyd. Even if Boyd did come to Oregon, there is a good chance he wouldn't see the field until September 2011 at the earliest.
