Just to give you an idea about what goes on just to make a buck. You can go to GoDaddy.com and enter a name for a website to see if it is available. You can also find out who owns it if it's not available.

TajhBoyd.com & BryceBrown.com / both owned by some dude out of Virginia (Joe Kretsinger) Get this - he purchased both those sites on September 25, 2006. Renewal is Sept. 2009. Obviously, he follows these kids for awhile & just latches on hoping to sell the website names in the future.

TajhBoyd.org / recently purchased by a guy in Calabasas, CA / Barrystickets.com in Sept. 2008 (this one has a WV focus, so it's interesting at best)

Our earlier discussion about Bryce Brown's mentor -

PotentialPlayers.com / purchased by a software company who does website design, etc. RapidByte Technologies out of Overland Park, Kansas (Randy Staats) Looks like they're hoping to be in it for the long haul as it's not cheap to hire a software company to handle the whole deal for you.

Just a little info I came across................in case anyone is interested.

Is Bryce Brown Still Committed to Miami?
1/22/2009
“YES", I’m still committed to Miami, said Brown. He’s probably had to say this hundreds of times in the past couple of weeks, but Brown stays consistent when asked this question. Back in February of 2008 Bryce and the UM staff communicated Browns plans before he committed. They understood that he would still take his five official visits and this was no surprise to anyone involved in this process. Miami does have the one thing that no one else has (older brother Arthur Brown Jr.). Brown said, “Its more like a family conversation when it comes to the Miami staff, I can tell that they want the best for me and they aren’t pressuring me to sign my national letter of intent on signing day. Miami supports the fact that I am taking my time and making an educated and informed decision.”

Bryce seems more concerned about who the Canes will hire as Offensive and Defensive Coordinator and just as importantly how will the offensive line 2009 class will turn out. “I’m really watching to see what schools lineman, Marcus Hall, Bobbie Massie, and Daniel Campbell will be attending on signing day. Some people say what type of impact I could have on where some other players will go, but I want them to know that they have an impact on my decision.” But still some ask is Bryce Brown still committed to Miami? The answer remains to be “YES” as of January 22, 2009.

Kids a UM lock their class is entirely too strong... Part of the issue UO will have is Bryce looking at the OL recruited by UO and saying I rather not play behind them despite what happened last year...

Canes jump to top for OL after visit 1/23/09

Marcus Hall

"The visit went great," the four-star standout said. "Right now I like Miami a lot. That visit was, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd have to say it was a 10. They made it hard to say no. It's going to be a big, big decision.

"I'm still on the official visit high, but I'm thinking about Miami more than Ohio State right now."

Hall took the visit by himself. When he gets home this evening he'll be talking things over with his mother. He says a decision could come anytime from tonight up through signing day.

1/19/09 Bobby Massie 5Star OL
"Right now everybody is even amongst my five schools (Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, North Carolina)."

AND

Four-star offensive tackle Daniel Campbell was signed and placed at Hargrave by USC but isn't likely to end up there. It seems that the Trojans have backed off and Miami has stepped in as the front-runner although he needs to clear a few academic hurdles first. Oregon is also trying to get involved. Campbell took an official visit to Miami on Dec. 12.

Very interesting news D1!

But to say our O-Line isn't solid is pretty laughable...track record anyone, I think our O-Line has proven itself over tine! And BB knows that, anyone else is just posturing (sp?)!

You added words
1) I never said anything about being solid or not, I spoke to star power as assigned by rivals, particularly if they get these last three kids..
2) I was speaking to new recruits not the current OL playing...so they have no track record

You have to understand they alreay have Brandon Johnson and Jermaine Jackson two Four star OL in their pocket regardless of what these kids do...

I'd like to know who was asking the question...it sounds like a UM source. I bet a neutral reporter would still get him to say we lead but this whole situation has ventured over to ridiculous! Not to mention if he asked the question about O-Lines I'd say a better view would be track record...as is who does what with their talent and scheme who leads the nation in rushing ect...

What a bizarre situation...he would be a Heisman front runner with us if he lives up to his billing! With UM or whoever he would just be another back looking for carries and yardage!

Oh forgive me I was talking about the quotes you used...because I bet who ever is competing against us probably is using "star power" to boast about what they have versus us (in 2009 class)...that's why I said "track record" because USC and UM have proven nothing to a RB that wants to run for a lot of yards!

Great job sleuthing for info though!

I'm assuming it was a quote directly to Bryce Brown's mentor, Butler because it is posted on his new website.

Its odd bc losing the Coords may have helped UM in an odd way.... A fresh start can be sold and that way they can disconnect themselves from the running game failures. While keeping the HC Shannon allowing them to sell consistency at the same time....

I believe that anyone with an ounce of common sense would be able to see that our O-Line coach and his track record will trump any star ratings on unproven recruits.
